HOW TO ADJUST YOUR COMPUTER MONITOR Step Wedge Adjustment For optimal viewing of the images on these pages, you will need to adjust your monitor to the grayscale step tablet shown below. The images are best viewed at 24 bit color and a monitor resolution of 1280 X 1024. Adjust the brightness and contrast controls of your monitor so that you can see each step separately. Make the darkest step as dark as possible while still being able to distinguish it from the next lighter step. If you can accomplish this with your monitor contrast set to maximum then do so. The background on this page should be neutral gray. If it has a color tint to it, then adjust your monitor's color balance. Thanks to Chuck Vaughn and Jerry Lodriguss for this method of monitor calibration. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ RETURN HOME
